As Head of Data and Systems at Metro Namibia, I lead the strategy and execution of data analytics, software development, and ERP systems to support business growth. I manage cross-functional projects, drive data integration across platforms, and oversee reporting and BI initiatives. With a strong focus on operational insight and automation, I help shape the company’s digital and data-driven decision-making.
Responsible for ERP Migration Project, preparing and analysing reports and assist with any IT related and system software related issues.
Managing the accounts payable department, communicate with key suppliers and assist with their queries. Ensure that all necessary documentation is uploaded to the document storage and report on rebates and advertising discounts.
Review and supervise all creditors clerks. Ensure all creditors are paid according to agreed terms. Provide necessary documentation to supplier upon request. Follow up and resolve all creditor queries.
Request supplier statement, prepare payment remittances and creditor reconciliation’s. Attend to payment and claim queries from the supplier. Ensure all creditors in my portfolio is paid on time.
Processing cash and bank of close corporations and trusts and performing bank reconciliation statements at the end of each month. Reconciling VAT report and VAT account of trusts and close corporations and completing a VAT return form each VAT period.
Produce client reports (AFS, Minutes, Certificates, Management letter). Test client control.
